Turning Green into Gold: Green Patient Room
11.12.07 | One of the most popular exhibits at IFMA World Workplace 07 in New
Orleans was the Green Patient Room. For three days, this 400
sq.-ft. exhibit was packed with architects, interior designers, facility
managers, reporters and TV film crews. This wasnt the first time the
Green Patient Room played to large crowds. In May, it was the star of the
green centerpiece at the 2007 Commercial Construction Show in
Chicago.

10.8.07 | Keeping Up With The Times, a panel discussion centered on the
architecture and interior design of the new eco-smart New York Times
Building was held October 2, 2007, at the Architects & Designers
Building in Manhattan. Sponsored by Gensler, the A&D
Building and Metropolis magazine, the evening featured
presentations and discussion with key figures for the project.
Haworth Shoots For Gold In NYC
9.10.07 | It is no surprise that Haworth wants to show off its new 31,000
sq. ft. New York City showroom. The renderings look ambitious, and
Haworth is developing the space to meet LEED-CI Gold standards. A
showroom opening celebration is planned for December 5th, but
in the mean time, the company has also planned a series of unconventional
Hard Hat Tours, to bring invited guests through the 125 Park
Avenue space while it is undergoing construction.
