What'’s An Interior Designer Doing In A Place Like This?

9.15.08 | Why would a practicing interior designer get a Ph.D. in architecture to teach interior design at the college level? This was the question posed to me recently while discussing the critical shortage of interior design educators and the urgent need to increase the pool of qualified educators.
